The Story of ADRA NZ
In 1994, ADRA NZ was little more than a vision and a few faithful people willing to act. Our first director, Allan Fletcher, believed so deeply in the mission that he sacrificed half his own salary to employ another staff member, ensuring ADRA could keep going and reach more families. With limited resources but great determination, our early projects began — including reforestation initiatives in Cambodia and small, local community partnerships in New Zealand.
