On February 26, a 7.5 earthquake struck Papua New Guinea. The death toll has now reached 67, with at least 500 more people injured and 127,000 people in need of immediate aid such as food, shelter, and healthcare. Many remote areas are still inaccessible.
Currently, ADRA is working with representatives of Churches, Community Leaders, and the PNG Governments Disaster Management Team to identify and respond to the needs of the communities worst affected by the earthquake. More information will be provided as it becomes available
