Buy a McDonalds Ice cream? Buy a book from an Op Shop? Or Join a movement dedicated to ending poverty?
If every rich-world country, such as New Zealand, gave 50c from every $100 of income every year, together we could help halve extreme poverty in just 10 years!* Imagine the thousands that would have hope if we all did this.
By donating 50c from every $100, you can do your part in changing the world.
Your monthly gift is used to help change the lives of people in need, helping them plan for a bright future and realise their dreams. All of your donation will go straight to helping families who need it most, whether it be families struggling in New Zealand or all the way across the globe, your donation will plant hope in a community.
For an income of about $25,000 a year or $950 a fortnight, 50c from every $100 is a monthly gift of just $10. An income of $50,000 a year or $1900 a fortnight, is $20 a month. Use the table below to determine your part in ADRA’s Hope Nation.

*Following the release of the Millennium Project Report to the UN Secretary-General in 2005 regarding a practical plan to achieving the Millennium Development Goals to halve world poverty by 2015, Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the UN Millennium Project and Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, said that it would cost about 50c out of every $100 of rich world income (GNP) each year for the next 10 years.
