!@(uploads/29.jpg popimg: “bright future”)The team for ADRA New Zealand 2006 has changed shape ! We farewell Alan Fletcher from the position of Country Director to a new position within ADRA – International Development. We are really excited to be able to still have the experience Alan brings with him, and he is excited about focussing on International Development; something Alan is very good at and has a wonderful passion for.
Carolina Ruocco our full time volunteer will be flying home at the end of the month. We will miss Carolina’s smiling face around the office and wish her well with the future.
I will be leaving ADRA New Zealand with much sadness. Having worked for ADRA for three years I find it hard to leave – I have learnt so much along the way and have enjoyed working with the team. Full time study beckons and I will be doing a Degree in Information Technology. I am really excited about the changes that are taking place with ADRA, and am looking forward to seeing what ADRA New Zealand will achieve in 2006.
ADRA New Zealand has a new Country Director – Clinton Rapell. Clinton comes to ADRA with a background in Sales and Telecommunications, and has spent the last two years directing the Papatoetoe ADRACare programme as a volunteer leader. Along with his passion for working with volunteers in this community based outreach Clinton brings a range of skills in networking, fund-raising, project management and team building. His energy and enthusiasm for ADRA has resulted in an extended programme at Papatoetoe with the Soup Kitchen Caravan, Drug Arm van and Kids Club outreach.
Clinton will take over the administration, fund-raising and management of ADRA New Zealand and spend the bulk of his time on developing the ADRACare programmes around New Zealand that link the church based volunteers with their communities.
