Bequests and Wills

Many people wish to plan gifts to provide compassionate, empowering assistance to those in poverty as part of their legacy.

Including ADRA in your will?

Because ADRA’s projects change from year to year, it is necessary for gifts designated in wills to be unrestricted. We cannot guarantee a current project will still be operating at the time your will is executed. If you still want to designate your gift to a specific project or country, please add a clause that allows ADRA to use the funds “where needed most” if ADRA is not operating the project or in the country you originally designated.

When visiting with your trust officer or solicitor, we suggest you bring the ADRA Bequest Form. You will find it has helpful tips for appropriate wording and other details your will preparer will need. You can also request this form at 0800 4 999 111. This includes all the information they’ll need to include ADRA in your will.
